The ACA 2b is a pure CLASS A design. We use Sovtek tubes -- either the 6922 or the 6DJ8. These tubes are used in many very expensive preamplifier designs. The sound is fast, beefy and transparent. The ACA 2b features three inputs. It also has a record output and a main output. The ACA 2b is very high quality. We use platinum coated switches and ceramic sockets. The case is made from the same high quality chrome plated case as our SE 9 and SE 18.

The ACA 2b accepts up to 6 volts in and outputs up to 60 volts. This is enough power to fully drive just about any amplifier. The ACA 2b is an excellent way to upgrade the SE 9. The SE 9 and ACA 2b combination sounds fuller, more detailed with better bass and imaging.
